Last month, I shot a show and podcast with Extreme Restraints for their educational series, XR University. I personally own quite a few items from Extreme Restraints and being invited to be on the show was a complete honor for me. Needless to say, I was beyond stoked when I was invited by Aiden Starr, a friend from EWS play parties and a Dominatrix all-star that many of you may be familiar with with her numerous accolades, videos, and director credits.

The series is part kinky lifestyle education, part interview, and part playtime. I got to try out a lot of toys I was interested in, including a new chastity device that I have quickly become fond of, and I also talked extensively about my experience within FemDom.

The show typically tends to be more male Top/female bottom, so for this episode, they wanted to focus on the FemDom dynamic within my life. Aiden and Ian Rath asked me to bring a sub of my choosing, and I brought in my slave partner, gimpy, naturally. He and I had a fun time talking about how FemDom and kink fit within our personal life, and I think a lot of you would find it elucidating.

Many of us who find our kinks online oftentimes have this ideal of what BDSM should look like in a lifestyle relationship. I personally wanted a high protocol D/s within my personal life, but I quickly found out that it was not feasible for me both mentally and physically. Real life has too many constraints that can quickly put a damper on fantasy expectations, and in turn, I’ve had to re-adjust the role it can play within my life. This may look differently for you, but for me, as somebody in an ongoing romantic D/s, I’ve found that how we express our kinks throughout the years has changed into something mellower. Aiden, Ian, and I chat extensively in this episode about our own personal takes on how kink and BDSM fit within our personal lives.
